After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Shipping And Handling We charge Postage and Packing based on order value for delivery in UK mainland.

Delivery Schedule All goods are delivered via the Royal Mail with their standard parcel post service or Parcelforce and usually delivered to your address within 3 to 5 working days. If you would prefer next day delivery by courier service than this can be arranged, please e-mail us for our current prices for this service.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges All Our Prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%

Returns Policy You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of it being placed or seven days after receipt of the goods. 7 Days Cooling off period starts from the day after the goods are delivered. If you do cancel your order with us then you will have your payment returned promptly. Please note that postage for both ways will be deducted from the refund if you choose to cancel the order. This does not affect your statuary rights.

Product details

All products sold on our listings are brand new; we DO NOT sell used or refurbished items unless stated. All the products conform to relevant British Safety standards and suitable for children to play with, with the age group stated. Please be aware that due to continuous stock change we reserve the right to change product details such as the colour and other minor details without your prior knowledge.

Warranty & Return Policy details

All items sold on our listings carry 6 Months return to base warranty unless otherwise stated. With any damages or missing parts should be reported within 7 days of the customer receiving the item. No exceptions will be allowed and the management of Smart Play Zone reserve the right to withdraw this warranty at any given time.

In the event of an item being faulty or damaged when delivered, Smart Play Zone will aim to repair the product by sending replacement parts out to the customers address as soon as possible, if this is not possible then we will undertake the carriage costs incurred to get the item back to our warehouse for repair. In all other circumstances the customer will be liable for the delivery and collection charge incurred. We will aim to get the item repaired and back to you within 28 working days and if this does not happen we will replace the item. Where a replacement is not available a full refund will be offered at the managers discretion.

Where an item is faulty we would advise customers to phone us directly so our technicians can guide them through some simple troubleshooting steps. When returning items can you please enclose a covering letter stating your full details including order number, a daytime contact number and the reason for return.

Batteries

Please note that Smart Play Zone only offer 30 days warranty for the batteries that are provided with any items sold. In every sale the item is checked by our staff prior to despatch and the battery is fully tested. If in a situation the item becomes un-useable due to a faulty battery then the customer will be liable for Courier charge incurred to get the replacement battery out. Smart Play Zone will provide the battery free of charge but the shipping charge must be met by the customer. This is providing that the battery is within the warrenty period. After Warrenty period, the customer is liable to pay for the battery and shipping cost.

Delivery

Delivery will be undertaken by one of our courier services namely Parcel Force or City Link and on bulkier items such as the 2 Seater jeeps this will be undertaken by TNT. No refund is allowed where the courier company has failed to deliver the item on a particular service. For example an item delivered through 24 hour post and the customer not receiving the item in the given time due to delay by the courier company. If a courier company has tried to deliver the item but have not found anyone to take delivery then it will become the customers responsibility to pay for re-delivery charge incurred.

Packaging

Please note that in the event of the customer returning the goods, please try to return it in the original packaging sent with the item. If you do not have original packaging, please use adequate packaging. We advise that if there are storage problems due to the size of the box - you flat pack it and store it safely. The consumers owe a duty of care to look after the goods while they are in their possession and also to ensure that the goods are adequately packed for transit return

Damage in Transit

We appreciate due to the size and shape of the boxes we send to you, they may be vulnerable to damage in transit by the couriers. If this happens to your item then you must report this within 7 days of you recieving the item. So it leaves enough time for our staff to claim on the couriers insurance. If the item is not repaired by sending replacement parts then we will replace the entire item at our discretion.

Collection of goods

We offer our customers the choice of picking the item up from our warehouse in Dewsbury from Monday to Friday 9 – 5 and on Saturdays 10 – 2. All collections will be charged at £10 for bigger items such as ride on jeeps and cars and £5 for smaller items such as RC and other baby products. Please contact us if you are unsure which applies to which item.

Warranty and Return Policy for our Radio Controled Hobby Toys

All our battery operated radio controlled toys come with a 30 days limited return to base warranty from the date on which the item is delivered, unless otherwise stated. Missing parts, incorrect item or damage item must be reported within 7 days. In the event of item being faulty, we will try to repair it or if we can not repair it, replace it with a new one. Refund is only available when we can not repair the item and can not supply a replacement.
